The weavers at Chardin Home weave each piece by hand. They twine fibers into ropes, then they further intertwine the ropes either using braiding and weaving techniques, that have been passed down from generation to generation, to create rustic and elaborate table linen. Rustic table linen that is not only stylish but will also protect your tables against the heat from hot dishes.

All of our rustic and elegant interior decor products have been styled by our team of designers in the USA. Our craftspeople are local skilled artisans (in India) who then breathe life into our contemporary yet classic designs.

These table mats are handcrafted using jute and cotton braids. These braids are tightly woven to form the runners and then rolled for packaging. Please note that the rolling process will cause puckering of the placemats. To ensure that your mats lay flat, please stretch them and allow some time for the mats to settle on the tables.
